Where did
we begin?
Proposal preparation took two days on average and quality varied by author. At the same time teams were using unapproved AI tools, creating data risk.
A decision inventory was built and proposal preparation ranked first on the value–effort matrix. Pilot scope was kept deliberately narrow and governance rules were written alongside the pilot rather than after it.
What did we make?
A draft-generation workflow was built on past proposals and pricing rules, with every proposal approved by a person. A usage policy, risk classification and role-based training package went live with it.
What changed?
Draft preparation time fell to hours, structural consistency of proposals improved, and off-policy tool use dropped markedly.
