People and Future

Strategy and technology only last when human capability grows with them. This practice turns future concepts into tools a manager can use today.

People and FuturePRACTICE

We do not use the strong concepts inherited from the Gelecek Tasarımı practice — algorithmic leadership, cognitive capital, asymmetric futures — without explanation. We pair each concept with a client outcome. For us, 'algorithmic leadership' means: a decision, team and performance system for managers in the age of AI.

The design rule in this practice is simple: classroom time is at most a third of the programme; the rest is field assignments, peer learning and manager checkpoints. Unless that ratio is kept, satisfaction scores come back high and nothing has changed six months later.

Measurement is set up from the start and tied to a business metric: sales conversation quality, resolution time, error rate, voluntary attrition in critical roles or first-ninety-day productivity. Any impact claim made without a pre-programme baseline is open to dispute, so measurement is the first step of design.

Key takeaways

  • We always pair abstract future concepts with a measurable client outcome.
  • Training alone does not change behaviour; without an adoption rhythm impact does not last.
  • The output of a leadership programme is a working decision and feedback rhythm, not a deck.
  • Scenario work is not forecasting; its purpose is to increase readiness.

07FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What exactly does 'algorithmic leadership' mean?
A decision, team and performance system for managers in the age of AI. Managers now lead mixed human–machine teams; defining which decisions belong to the machine and which to people sits at the centre of this capability.
We train people but behaviour does not change — why?
Because training is an event and adoption is a system. Without an 8–12 week practice rhythm, manager support and measurement, knowledge does not become behaviour. In our programmes training is only a third of the total time.
Is the future-skills curriculum the same for every role?
No. We split the skills map by role family. A field engineer and a finance specialist do not need the same AI and decision skills.
How is scenario work different from a strategic plan?
A strategic plan is built around one future. Scenario work builds three or four plausible futures and defines early warning indicators and readiness steps for each. They are complementary, not rivals.
