Brand Advisory

Ongoing advisory places brand decisions inside everyday business decisions so strategy does not erode.

Brand advisory is not a one-off project but a continuity service. However well a strategy document is written, it erodes under the pressure of daily decisions: a product is added, a campaign is rushed, a sub-brand is born without approval. Advisory prevents that erosion by being present at the moment of decision.

The working rhythm is fixed: a monthly strategy session with an agenda beforehand and a written decision note afterwards. Each session reviews the brand decisions taken in the past month and pre-discusses the critical decisions of the coming one. New product, sub-brand, partnership and campaign decisions are compared against the strategy document; where there is drift, either the decision or the document is updated. If neither happens, the strategy has effectively lapsed.

At quarter ends we prepare a short brand health summary for the board: consistency of the sales narrative, when the price conversation opens, digital visibility and guideline compliance. That summary turns brand investment from a matter of feeling into a trackable management topic.

08FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How long does brand advisory work take?
It depends on scope. For brand advisory, diagnosis of 1–3 weeks, main work of 4–10 weeks and rollout of 2–4 weeks are typical ranges. Organisation size, the number of people in the decision process and current data maturity set those ranges; exact timing is put in writing after the diagnosis session.
Can we buy brand advisory on its own?
Yes. During diagnosis we check together whether your problem really sits in brand advisory; often a combination of two services produces a better result, and we say so openly at the proposal stage.
How is brand advisory priced?
Scope-based. For brand advisory the deliverables, duration and the team involved are written item by item into the proposal, so no surprise line appears later. If budget is tight, the scope can be split into layers and continued once the first layer shows a result.
Can our own team run brand advisory delivery?
It can. On many projects we build the brand advisory decision and system layers while the in-house team continues day-to-day delivery. The guide, templates and training needed for handover are included.
